Karimunjawa Publications, Ecotourism Village Beach



In addition to Thousand Islands, Karimun Jawa is one group of islands located in the Java sea. Karimunjawa National Park is often used as a means of research on matters relating to maritime affairs, such as area management and coastal recreational activities, the ecology of tropical rain forest vegetation coastal areas, mangrove vegetation, coral reef ecology and diversity of sea biota.

Coral reefs in Karimunjawa National Park consists of several types of coastal coral reefs (fringing reef), coral reef barrier (barrier reef) and a few taka (patch reef). Sea biota wealth consists of more than 90 types of hard coral and 242 species of fish. Two main types of biota are protected reef that is the root bahar (Antiphates spp.) And red coral (Tubipora musica). Protected marine biota is the head of the goat (Cassis cornuta), triton trumpet (Charonia tritonis), hollow nautilus (Nautilus pompillius), a rock fight (Turbo marmoratus), and 6 types of chemicals.

In addition to coral reefs and mangrove forests, coastal areas of Karimun Islands slicked stretch of the same with a large seagrass. In addition, residents can also increase revenue by opening a home stay, selling souvenirs, open a stall, or provide facilities for tourists who visit there.

Various recreational activities can be done during a holiday in Karimun Jawa. The enchantment of the sea provide a place for diving and snorkelling adventures.
